Moving this down a star because the more I think about it, the more I realize I did not enjoy this book as much as its predecessor. It is still a must read for fans of Alienated and I am definitely looking forward to however many books are in the rest of the series.
Well, they were several actually: While Aelyx and Cara aren’t physically together for most of the book, I really liked the development of their relationship.
Cara always knew life on planet L’eihr would be an adjustment. The books are so fun and filled with humor, amazing protagonists, and a swoon-worthy romance. I just couldn’t connect like I did with the first even when Cara and Aelyx reunited,the magic for their relationship was gone for me I just did not see their chemistry anymore it Overall I’m really disappointed the romance suffered a lot and the book suffered because for most of the book Aelyx and Cara were not together the romance is what this series fall back on its the greatest element.
