Macy’s school officially classifies her as “disturbed,” but Macy isn’t First to her friends, who are jealous and petty and snooty. This book has a lot btenna for it, as stated above, it’s not just a murder mystery, it has substance and emotions. What happened to the ghosts haunting Hannah at the end?
I really loved how much the pair mean to each other. I think there was only a page where the actual process of deduction happened and then before Valentins know it, Hannah has the killer.
For all its talks of a rampaging murderer, the book’s sole focus is really about the relationships of its characters. There were hints of blood, bruises and cuts but never anything that would cause vertigo over papfr disturbing killings. But it’s lovely and creepy and you’ll like it, too. He was looking over my shoulder, and animals can sense better than humans.
And I really loved how her character developed. I had to keep going though. And I don’t mean one of those awesome reveals which catches you by surprise but then makes sense in hinds I really don’t know what to think about this.

I have to admit though, that I was both relieved and disappointed that she opted not to write the scenes of the crime descriptively. Grab one here and link to YABC! If you want to get right down to it, the biggest turn off for me was Lillian. Paperr was very simple, but not overly simple. I absolutely loved this beautiful book, laced with myriad themes almost all of them below the surface, nothing was obvious or in your face which is what I really liked about it. Not only is Hannah dealing with her acceptance of her death, there is also a murderer killing girls in her neighbourhood.
Quite suspenseful and pretty creepy until all is revealed. For me, a main character should have inner strength.

Yovanoff does va,entine and eerie settings very well, and there were some scenes that straight up freaked me out. He’s cuffed, and that’s it? Watching Hannah come into her own as a person, both accepting the parts of herself wholly unlike Hannah and incorporating a bit of Hannah’s advice made me so glad for her.
Hannah is a great character.
